What do I need to get started?

Hygienists and dentists need active credentials and a few minutes to complete a profile. We verify your license through your state board, then activate your account, typically the same day. Assistants don't need a state license; we review your profile instead, and we ask for a minimum of three years of chairside experience.

How much does Oasis cost for dental offices?

You pay the professional directly at the rate you set, in whichever manner your CPA recommends, plus a flat daily placement fee to Oasis for each shift day. For offices in South Carolina, the placement fee is $165 for a dentist, $75 for a hygienist, and $65 for an assistant. For offices outside South Carolina, it's $150 for a dentist, $60 for a hygienist, and $50 for an assistant. There's a one-time onboarding fee when you join. No monthly subscription, no markup on the professional's rate, and no hidden fees.

Permanent recruiting varies by role and location, so we recommend a quick 30-minute call. The one exception is South Carolina, where we offer temporary and temp-to-hire placements only.

Yes. Every professional has their credentials reviewed before their account goes live. Dentists, specialists, and hygienists are verified by license, and any licensed doctor with valid credentials is welcome to join. Assistants bring a minimum of three years of chairside experience.

Can I hire a temp pro permanently?

Yes. We find temp-to-hire has a high success rate because both sides get to work together before committing. Just keep us in the loop if you'd like to hire one of our professionals permanently.

How does pricing work for each service?

Temp: you pay the professional directly at the agreed-upon rate (in whichever manner your CPA recommends) plus a flat daily placement fee to us, set by role and by whether your office is in South Carolina (see the cost question above). Perm Recruiting: limited monthly slots since it's an active hands-on search. We start with a fit call; if it's a match, we collect a deposit and review fees during the call. Minimum fee starts at $4,000.

Can I rate or block providers?

Yes, you will be able to rate providers after they work in your office. If providers cancel shifts, this also affects their overall rating, visible when applying to your office. You'll also have the option to block providers if you wish.

What if I have multiple practices?

No problem, you'll be able to enter all of your practices in during the time of onboarding and toggle between them under one account.
